The mission of NASA Television is to provide the American people access through television to their aeronautics and space program. NASA TV provides real-time coverage of Agency activities and missions as well as resource video to the news media and educational programming to teachers, students and the general public.

Available by satellite around the clock and throughout the year, NASA TV covers NASA space missions, congressional hearings, and scientific breakthroughs. In addition, NASA TV schedules regular programs and offers the news media unique interview opportunities. On Saturdays and Sundays, NASA TV airs Earth Views beginning at Noon and continuing through 3am ET.
