Site Performance Update


10/03/03:
This update is to inform our user of some of the issues concerning slow site performance. Today we have released a software update that fixes the performance issues related to blank page returns, slow searches and page errors associated
with browser incompatibilities.

We are currently focused on Beta testing our latest full-site rollout which will include many new programs and enhancements for both job seekers and employers accounts.

Credit Card Verification System Rollout

08/06/01:
After much anticipation, beta testing was completed last week and rollout of our new 128 bit encrypted pay online job posting platform and went live today. Employers can now post jobs and pay for them by Purchase Order/Invoice, Credit Card or Online Check.

This system positions GOVJOBS as the first privately owned government specific job bank to offer acceptance of federal, state and local purchase cards (levels 1-5), processed on a federal banking network. The new system enables employers the advantage of prepaid job posting packages discounted to 20% for posting 4 or more jobs, up to 100 jobs at a time. The system is 100% automated and functions in real-time.


05/04/01: Job Search Tool Update

Today we launched a new and more robust version of our job search tool. Updates include added SQL functionality to the backend to serve up more accurate searches. A new "Search Tool Help" page. Users can now get "Quick Search Tips", link can be found on the Job and Resume search tools. 

New features include "Search by Location", and sophisticated Syntax variables for advanced users such as; AND, OR, *, &, +, -, ?, ( ).
